Bridgette works on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays & is currently accepting new clients

Bridgette is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Bridgette’s approach to therapy is person-centred, collaborative, and strengths based. Depending on her client’s needs, she draws upon a variety of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Play Therapy and Mindfulness.

Above all, she strives to provide a space that is compassionate and non-judgemental where clients feel supported to explore what is important to them and make meaningful, long-term change. Alongside this, Bridgette values building a strong therapeutic relationship with all her clients and providing individualised, flexible, and holistic care.

She enjoys working with clients across the lifespan including preschool and primary school children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience treating and diagnosing a range of concerns but has a particular interest in supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, grief, emotion regulation, life transitions, burnout, stress, sleep issues, and school belonging & avoidance.

Bridgette has experience working with neurodivergent individuals and their families across multiple settings and can confidently liaise with schools, workplaces, and other health practitioners to ensure collaborative care. When providing assessment, diagnosis, and counselling, she takes a neuroaffirming approach. She is passionate about listening to the voices and experiences of neurodivergent people and using these to guide her as she continues to learn and grow as a psychologist and as an advocate for her clients.

Bridgette can conduct social, emotional, behavioural, cognitive, and academic assessments, including those for specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia), giftedness, neurodivergence (ADHD, autism), intellectual disabilities, mood disorders, and behavioural issues.

Outside of work Bridgette enjoys spending time with her cats, Kiara and Rory, going on walks with friends (especially if there’s coffee involved), playing Nintendo Switch (mostly Animal Crossing, Dreamlight Valley, or Hogwarts Legacy), and reading or listening to a great book.
